right a little while ago i remember someone suggesting an alternator that fits the R19 16v but is better than standard [from a diesel maybe?]
tried searching but can't find the thread. could someone let me know which one will fit and give a stonger output, as my 'trusty' second hand one has packed in!!!

Anyway rsi alternator, same liek schakal said on 8V F type engines aside from the diesel.
Ratings differ.
Lag one is best as it normally has a higher rating. |
question is which lag one do i need then? thanks |

they vary, some are stock 16v rating others are higher.
but an older car will be needed, as in 94 ish. |

True found a place local to me that sells re-con ones. £65 with an exchange, not too bad!!! |
