Since I'm doing the car this weekend I thought I'd look for the cam belt pulleys. So upper and lower as well as a water pump.
Found it for £94.20 inc postage from eurocarparts
£112.81 inc postage from BB
Any suggestions where I might find the bits cheaper. Also is it even worth doing these bits if they haven't "gone" as such , i.e as part of a service since I'm fitting the new tappets anyway. |

you can get the cambelt kit from Renault which includes the belt and both tensioners for £95 ish IIRC
Only need to change them if they are rough or loose when you spin them. |

In that case I'll look once the head's off. I have a Renault dealership 5 mins walk away so isn't a prob gettin the parts. With reguards to the water pump, is that something that should be replaced if nackered and not as a point of service. |

well while youre there you may as well change it if it hasnt been done before.
You can pick up pumps off ebay for a tenner or less sometimes and they're not too expensive anyway. |
