Ahhhh just hit a frikkin badger on me way home poor bugger. He came outta frikkin nowhere, I could do nothing about it. Ah well, he got his own back on me by breaking a bit of trim or something behind me front bumper. It was all broke & hanging down, but too dark & rainy to look now. I'll asses the damage in the morning! doh |

Do you know that Badgers are protected species and if you kill one you are meant to report it .......
We hit 2 badgers in our Army Land Rover once, they where running across the road and they where the same distance apart as the 2 front wheels, 1 got hit by the passenger wheel and the other by the drivers wheel |

you got off lightly Si, a badger smashed the bumper up pretty bad on one of my old cars when I hit him at about 60.
He came off second best though. |

Yeah Neal, I'm lucky I wasn't goin quick and it didn't do too much damage. I was doin 40ish, maybe a bit less. Was in a 40 limit and following another car at the time and the bloody thing ran out right between us like.
Well I've had a look now and it's not too bad. Just I can't figure out how to put it back where it was! The bit that's hangin down that is. I think maybe it's broke cuz it doesn't seem to fit anywhere. Hmmmm. I would post pics up, but I've just ran the disk cleanup wizard in windows and now none of my Adobe programs will load! God damn peice a crap! |

Hit a badger in the 19 the other week, lots my front number plate, driver side fog and cracked the bottom of the bumper, also pushed the bumper so fast back it made an indentation on the radiator. So sure i'd killed it, (went over it with front and back end of the car) but when I went back 10 minutes later to look for my fog, it had gone. |

Poor things. |
I know man I felt so guilty for hitting it. But like aside from a jump button on me car, there was no way I could've avoided it like. Anyway, sounds like I'm the least worse off damage-wise out of the lot of ya! Cuz it didn't really do much...
Although I can't figure out how the hell this goes back on. I think there's something broke off it that used to hold it to the car cuz.....well....it doesn't make sense. It flaps up & down in the wind when ur goin along too, makes a really nice & not-annoying-at-all tapping noise! |
