are the spark plugs from a Megane 2.0 16v the same as the R19 16v or at least compatible?

come on chaps, must be simple, can't think of a reason they wouldn't work, basically same engine, same rocker cover but what about lead connections?

check the no.s as you said they should work, but check just in case.

yep, same plugs, no bother.

Interestingly, NGK list different plugs between the 19 16v and the clio 16v...

Different being twin and triple electrodes i think....

like Neal said NGK list different part no's for the clio/19 and megane.
the electrodes shouldn't make a huge differenc, should they?

the only difference electrodes make is the lifetime of the plug as far as i know.

he would confirm that too Wink
hence multi electrodes are not recommended ,get standard single electrode ones

I was referring to the fact that you said the 'only' different was the lifetime of the plug, which is not the case Wink and yes, i agree with single eletrodes.
