have been to the Sachsenring on Saturday and Sunday (which happens to be today). the weather was gorgeous and the on-track action thrilling 
here are some crappy pics done with my phone:
the Sachsenring track in all its glory (very twisty track with lots of elevation changes)
250cc race
safety car (they had a 6series BMW, a M3 CSL and a 5series BMW)
nearly 100k visitors on Sunday alone...

the MotoGP race was won by Max Biaggi, who also dominated qualifying. Alex Barros came home second, while team mate Nicky Hayden was third. Honda swept the podium while Valentino Rossi ruined his tyres and finished 4th.
I'm not too much into bike racing as I am a car man myself but MotoGP has to be one of the most exciting racing series on the planet. great entertainment. they are heading for Britain next weekened so watch out  |
