I broke the *%&*%%# oil pump pulley/gear/sprocket (whatever you call them) on my valver.
wheres the best place to get a second hand one?
or has anyone on here got one?

or can anyone tell me if the 1.4 version is the same

no just the pulley, it just bolts onto the pump.

And yes its driven by the cam belt.

anyone got one?

damn thing wouldnt come off so i left it.
i again about an hour later (incredible hulk style) armed with a big screw driver and an even bigger socket set.
Didnt quite go to plan.

just changing a few things on my engine and it needed to come off.
water pump. cam belt tensioners etc

I couldnt get the rear cambelt cover off with it on.

you don't have to remove the cover to change the idler.
