I have a 1999 Laguna 1.9TD that has a mind of its own.On cold mornings below 9-10*c i have to turn the ignition on 4 to5 times on the glowplug light before engaging the starter, frosty mornings require 3 or 4 attempts(the neighbours love me at 5.30am). All summer i have no problems what so ever. I have renewed the glowplugs to no avail, same problems persist.Can anybody out there save my sanity or a donation to a warmer climate will be gratefully accepted. |

coolant temperature sensor,white square plug on the cylinder head with a electric plug going into it

Er...schacks' this is a diesel...not a petrol... I get the same problem on my 95' TD, I 'think' its somthing to do with the cold start system, which on mine runs off the vacuum pump....not sure how to fix it mind you... |

diesels dont have a CTS ?? is it?? |

Mine doesnt and im sure the DTI's dont...not 100% sure about the DCI's though. |
