im about to get my 19 moted. prices vary from 35pound to 48pound. why is this? also is it better to just have one mot guy checking car over or a swarm of garage workers poking around it. |

i paid £30 for mot test last week which should be the standard fee and usually you just have the one tester checking your car out |

you can have a mot for 15 quid in a local garage 50metres away from my house ,
but they will deffo fail you on at least a front leg and a disc which wil mean you will have to change the whole lot , so they can make commissions on parts they provide

the official price is meant to be 48 quid. Garages can charge less if they wish but not more.
Also only the tester and an assitant may be on the car being tested. |

yea the price has gone up due to the amount of work the mot-ers have lost due to this "live-system" that the dvla/vosa have now deciede to do my local place charges £48 other wise they would be going out of bussiness very soon  |
