hi,
think im about to buy a nice 19 16v, before we agree on a price though i need to find where i can get renault parts online for cheap.
also im budgeting at £150 for a very full service and discs and pads all round, some work carried out by me others by my pal as cash homer at his garage. does this sound an ok amount to you guys? how are the CV joints to change and again anyone know how much they are? |

www.gsfcarparts.com are good for parts, they do brembo max front brake discs for £48 the pair,
All there other gear is original equip, and i've recieved stuff the following morning, no complaints |

CV joints are integral with shatfs so the whole shaft just gets changed which is easier...only about £40 for a shaft
i got a set of disks for a tenner off ebay
pads maybe 17 quid from halfords |

Think I would rather pay for some branded discs, the valeos are £16 each or brembos 24 each.
I've seen cheapers makes brown bros etc crack, work very poorly (Brake fade) and warp much easier despite bedding in (so much you could feel it through the pedal and car).
Its worth paying that bit more |
