hi everyone, im currently driving a clio 16v, and just bout a r5 gt turbo, the main thing i want to do is swap the engines around. does anyone have a guide on putting the turbo into the clio? ive seen a guide about putting the 16v engine in the r5 (thanks to whoever made the guide on here!) is it more simple putting the engine in the clio?
any help would be much appreciated |

yeh im still not entirely sure about doin it, currently the engine is standard in the clio, and has 65k miles on it, but i miss having a turbo, if i do a turbo conversion i guess im looking about £2k? what does everything think, not worth putting in the turbo engine? or spend some money on tuning the 16v engine n getting rid of the r5 gtt? heres a pic of the clio now
wots everyone think? |

don;t mess up the clio with the turbo engine. Keep it in the 5. The 16V is a far better engine day to day tbh. And a stock 16V will outrun a stock GTT. |

id rather buy the clio off you instead.

and whats there to miss about the turbo?..the late kick?
the f7 gives it all the time..cant see the point personally. |

Best mod you can do on the 16v is cams and headwork...nothing else will make any noticable difference, except perhaps removing PAS. |
