Hey up

I’ve fitted a new clutch cable to my r19 16v chammy, its a Renault part

I can select gears but its difficult once the car warms up and reverse grinds in. they are okish when the car is cold.
The cable isn’t really tight on the fork I reckon that’s the problem, but ive fitted it the same way as the old one, could it be something else? Or do I just need to put some spacers in?

Thank you

well either the pedal ratchets away (common problem) or the clutch is on its way out.

try some spacers, if it helps then great, but I would get a new pedal as its only 20 ish quid anyway.
