hi all, i changed my clutch cable on my 19 16v phs2 hatch on sat and on sunday i realised my speedo had stopped working,any help on this matter plz as im not sure if i may have knocked anything when changing the cable?
also there is a droning noise from the back of the car when i go over 30mph at a guess and then goes when i get past around 70mph again at a guess, cud this be wheel bearings,if so are they easy to change or just re grease them?
any help would be great.
last thing i have a chamade phs2 in green for sale, but is acident damage, all panels are fine,super engine and gearbox 105miles on the clock and mint interior. hit black ice and bounced of a kerb bending the front left wheel and all the arms connected.would need to be trailered away.£300ono. has 10mths m.o.t and tax till feb and a folder of history if anyone is intrested. pick up in street,somerset. |

you might have knocked the speedo cable off the box or the back of the instruments.
It will be rear bearings, change them, they can't be re-greased - successfully that is. |
