what size spanners are required to undo locknut on tr/end.also to fit flat on trackrod. as my steering wheel is out of line when going stright ahead . is this a diy job? |

Yeah if youre just straightening the steering wheel you can do it yourself, just make sure you wind one TR end out exactly the same number of turns as you wind the other one in.
Be warned though, they are probably stuck fast in the rods so you might have to use a blowtorch etc. Can be a bitch of a job to loosen them off basically.
However, the fact that the wheel is not centred could quite likely be a symptom of a tracking misalignment, so you'd be as well taking it in to be tracked properly. |
