Hey guys... my first post!!!
Anyway, I have a '98 Clio 1.2, without a temperature gauge! I spotted one in a scrappy, same year as mine - with a temperature gauge and rev counter, cool!!
Will it fit in mine, work straight off?
And can I swap my speedo so the miles stay the same?!?
Thanks |

Didn't only the Clio 16v and Williams come with the temperature display?. If so, you'll be buying Clio 16v dials.
You'll need the temp sender unit in the nearside mirror casing too.
Ah I see it's a '98. my bad. |

Well I noticed the dials in a nice-spec 1.2 Clio! Well, I say nice spec... it had electric windows!
Will the gauges work if I plug them in do u know? |

Chris H will prolly know the answer to this one, i dont know if ur version will have the right plugs for the rev counter and temp guage, could be different wiring looms u see and if they are then you will need to wire them in yourself.
as for swapping the speedo so your mileage does not alter, yes and no, no if you are swapping the instrument panel straight over from the doner car to your car, yes if you can be arsed to pull them both apart and swap the auctual clock part of it over. |

I got dials from a Clio RT and they plugged straight into mine. I got them because I didn't have a temp gauge on mine and my car was overheating got a rev counter aswell which the plug was taped to the back of my old clocks so that plugged straight in.
