Has been getting worse recently. Engine idles fine when cold, but when warm will stall after a boot of the throttle. Often when slowing down for a junction after a 2nd gear blast! I'm thinking ISCV, as idle does vary a little bit when hot also.
Car is 1992 Renault Clio 16v 2.0L Hybrid
Any ideas???
Chris_H - You have seen/heard it running. Anything to suggest i try first, or is it just process of elimination? P.S Can you email / PM me some rough prices for my engine rebuild when you get a chance! Really need to know some rough figures so i can get my finances sorted! Cheers! |

either the road speed sensor earth r the ICV tbh mate.
Clean the ICV and the throttle body out and see what happens.
If you are about this weekend I might be able to pop over. |

Nice one Chris cheers.
Im very very very busy over the next week, got 3rd year uni exams, and lots of coursework to finish while trying to study for these exams.
I will be back home after next week (ie. not in edin) so should be able to get it sorted out. Have some wiring things i need to look into as well.
Does the 16v use 2 horns ? (i.e low tone and high tone?) The car never came with a horn! Anyway all things to fix over xmas. |

yes twin tone mate. on seperate brackets, have a look in chr's project cars and you wills ee bens on his!
