LOL, yea thats what it was like at my last apprenticeship, we only found half the stuff that came out of the car when it was being reshelled, but yes i got the blame, even though i wasnt there when the car was stripped!

i just finished work.

off down pub later i think.

my clio keeps locking up in the wet and im soon gonna need some new front tyres.

I'm still cleaning up stuff!

Got a celebrations tin for scrap metal now! lol, the circlips in there, along with dead coolant t-pieces and broken bolts! I have no use for them! I have a big pile of scrap that I wanna take down and get my fiver for! lol

apparently so!

But I don't have anywhere near a ton and nothing to shift a ton with!

Got old broken springs, doors, fuel tanks etc out there.

The fuel tank is gettign kind of full! I shove all the loose crap in there like bearings etc to get the weight up!

car needs a jump start! lol

The blue one will the white car won't though! But I'll need to juggle all the other other cars out the way to get it out!

my clio is collecting little problems to keep my busy during the summer

handbreak light is always on,

breaks sqeek

steering make a dull noise.

funny "air" sound when engine is running.

plus a few other noises that shoudent happen.

tappets need doing

SERVICE!

clean.

retime woudent go a miss.

but the car is so filthy, cant even see out the wingmirrors.

ill get a pic.

need to push the blue hatch in and out and its a bloody hard car to push! Brakes feel like they are sticking on in it!

Can push and jog with the chamades not with the hatch though!

handbrake light can be a few things, low brake fluid, the wiring has melted together, the handbrake switch has shorted.

im gonna guess its the handbreak switch, as oil is max and the wiring seems good.

been like it for a while, but i dont fancy carpets up job just to turn off a light.

so will save it for a while.

rog, you should be using brake fluid not oil!

I must admit I think Infinicar is very professional compared to the usual metal monkey I've dealt with claiming to be a breaker/scrapyard runner.

Also Paul seems very friendly the few times I've spoke with him and he's always responded promptly when I've made an enquiry about parts.

People might think Paul charges high but at the end of the day he's a business man and if he knows people will pay high for the popular parts then he'd be stupid not to ask for that amount of money.

Just my ten pence anyway.

i have bought a couple of items from infinicar and have spoken to Paul too, i agree with Ben, Paul is very helpful and knows his renaults.

He supplied me with a PAS Rack which had all the pipes removed properly and packaged seperatly and he dug me out one which had nearly new track rods and track rod ends on it with delivery £60

my local renault breaker 4 miles up the road wanted £60 for a PAS Rack which looked in a worse state than the one i wanted to swap out, had the pipes cut and the remains of them still bolted into the rack and looked like it needed the trackrod ends replacing.
