yeah I know its crap the 11 and the 5 were to.
Thats a good start mate but you can do so much more. Seperate it totally from the radiator.
Get down B&Q and get some plastic sheeting, I assume you no longer have the clio rad surround anymore? Thats actually a goos design for cooling, try and knock something up like that for the intercooler, rad as well.
You need to seal the coller and rad off totally as other wise air just goes around them instead of through them. |

It's difficult to get anything to fit that will stay in place sadly - there's not much to stick anything to hehe.
I'll have another look though, see what I can do. Cheers for the tip |

remember cable ties are there to secure anything, they even got my exhaust sitting properly till they melted. |

Current deflector is held in place by the wonders that are cable ties.  Even the intercooler is held up by them, heh |

Can be pretty good fun suprising people with it. The sound gives it away though, as soon as you give it any beans it sounds like a bloody jet fighter with the induction kit so close to the turbo. Keeps me amused anyway. |

Sell it? Never, not unless something forced me at gunpoint to!
Rekindled my love for her this weekend after taking a drive to Wales to abuse some of the A roads. I forgot how much fun 3rd gear and overtaking lines of traffic can be.
Also Sparkie from RTOC had a nose this weekend and noticed the choke was stuck on (oops) so thats been sorted as well as making one of the carb jets a little smaller so it's not running quite as rich on wot (I mean what really). Seems to be a little bit better now. |
