Right, you may or may not know the problems i've got with my valver, mainly the on/off grinding noise from what seems to be the gearbox. Anyway finally started doing somthing about it today.
Drained the box oil and here is the result
Looks very dark grayish in colour...to me that doesnt look healthy.
Its a long shot I suppose, but whats the chances I could stick some fresh oil in and hope for the best ? |

Really? Took a 3ft breaker bar to get the drain plug off, so looks like it might be origional oil. I'll slap some new stuff in tomorrow and pray. |
