We removed the old one from my old car for our newer TD and found that removal caused it to get a hole somewhere so ended up spending out on a new one . |

I think your going to have to, I spent ages looking for one, even had a scrap yard send me what they thought was one and it ended up being one for a non-turbo. Got fed up and bought a new one for all the hassle it was worth.
suggest you try www.partsgateway.com see if it comes up with anything.
Nice to see another TD on the site , welcome |

whats the difference between the TD rad and the non turbo one?
where do the hoses connect on the TD rad? either side like the 16v one or both on the gearbox side like the 1.4s etc? |

TD rads are wider by about 7-10 inches and conveniently the hoses connections are on the opposite sides to the non turbo ones, so you cant butcher a non turbo (which is about half the price of a turbo one)to fit . |

aye what huw said, the power steering resovoir is on a bracket on the rad, which theres no room for on a 16V.
Also its a proper rad with hoses on the same side. |
