Sorry I didn't know where to put this, I didn't put it in "Tech Questions" because it's more of a general/wanted post.
I'm needing someone local to Surrey who doesn't mind sparing half an hour in exchange for a few quid.
Basically I've had my car tracked from KwikFit and the steering wheel is now at the 10'oc position to go straight.
I took it back they redone it as I watched, with a steering clamp in the correct 12'oc position, but the wheel is still out.
I need the steering wheel off and reseated correctly, the car has an airbag, RT 1996 model.
If anyones intrested please let me know, I will come to you if need be, don't have the tools or knoledge to attempt it myself and most garages won't do it.
Plz pm me, or email darrenjones88@blueyonder.co.uk |

if you don't get any joy mate it's easy to do yourself, even without much knowledge. People will help you out if you get stuck, and you need very few tools for this, apart from a torx set and a new steering wheel bolt. |

New steering wheel bolt? You don't really need to bother with that, just make sure its up tight enough. |

they come with locking stuff on the bolt, and at only a couple of quid I thought it was better to get one. |

why not go somewhere that will track it properly?
Doesn;t matter if you move the wheel anyway as chances are the clock spring is already fooked on it due to the wheel being out. |
