I've been offered a new clutch for my TD by a work collegue's mate who used to be a Renault mechanic for 15 years before he went to work for Jag.
Anyway, he's says he can fit it and include the price of clutch for £300. Sounds like a good price to me, what do you people think??

£300 for and new clutch and fitted?i dunno if the td is harder to do than a 1.4 but mines was only £100-120 fitted by a little garage down the road from me 2 years ago |

the TD would have the same problems as a 16v I'd think.
Most garages wont touch a 16v for less then £550 - £600.
taking thet into account £300 don't sound too bad.
You can do it for a lot less yourself though. |
