Does anyone know the insides of a pavillion z5700? I need a repair done, ive got the extended warrenty with comet  but i dont want to have to be with out my laptop for 2 months! |

What kind of repair? i think the backs are spring loaded, so if you open it watch it doesnt bounce in your eye ball!! |

Whats the point of getting ripped off by Comet for an extended warrenty when your not going to use it? By opening the cover you'll probably invalidate that warrenty anyway (I think your only allowed to memory upgrades DIY).
Doesn't the Comet warrenty also cover you for accidental damage? If so, it could have an accident and you get the value of the laptop in voucer in the post within 7 days to go buy a new one!
If not, you can always find some way to blow it up beyond economical repair!
That said... my Acer is still with Acer (managed to blag a warrenty repair 1 month after warrenty expired!) - so far its had a new mainboard, new hard drive and graphics card.... hopeing they're just going to write it off and give me a new one! |

My aunt is a qualified mac technition so she pulled it apart, and the power plug has broken, so into comet it goes for the 3rd time in as many months |
