probs going to get shot down in flames when i mention this website... but according to parker the Ph 2 caby weighs a LOT less than the hatch and saloon and the 16v models have the same o-60 time of 8.2 seconds...
Anyone got any more reliable figures for the ph1and ph2 16v hatch, saloon and cabby?
Weights and 0-60's 0-100's would be most usefull, guessing output power and torque is almost identical. |

some sites vary with the 19 16v's.ranging from 7.2-8.2 0-60.think some websites say 23 secs 0-100 but i think its quicker than that need to test it 1 day. |

Weights:
Kerb Weight:
Ph1
3 door hatch - 1060kg
5 door hatch - 1080kg
4 door saloon - 1080kg
Cabriolet - 1180kg
Ph2
3 door hatch - 1115kg
5 door hatch - 1135kg
4 door saloon - 1135kg
cabriolet - 1190kg
i think that establishes once and for all that the ph1 is the lighter car with the cabriolet of both ph1 and ph1 versions being the heavier
Renault state that the ph2 16v 0-62mph (0-100kph) is 8.5 seconds with a max speed of 133mph (212kph)
Torque on the ph2 16v is 158 NM ISO or 16.5 mkg DN at 4250 rpm |

because the ph2s have additional items like side impact protection |
