well i braved the weather today and did the 110 mile trip to Santa Pod
Was a really good turn out too considering the freezing weather and its only the 2nd rwyb of the year.
Managed to meet King Stromba and Jill from F7Power, nice ppl, was cool meeting you.
Was also cool catching up with Mad Pierre & Chunk again as well as meeting a few new faces from RSC.
some pics
Mad Pierre & Chunk
Craig from RSC and his 2.0 16V clio, fully stripped and running throttle bodies
Then we found this beaast, a Clio with its engine stolen from an Audi TT!
with some 'small' mods
plenty of Williams Clios about (spot the odd one out)
For Sale:
The owner of this ph1 16V Chamade wants £1000 for it
also on throttle bodies and no bonnet for strip action
Craigs Clio on the strip, sadly to be his last run of the day . .
during the run when he hit 3rd gear there was a judder and Craig felt there was something wrong, there was, the cambelt jumped a tooth and mashed his valves into the pistons
RAC recovery truck to get the car home and a engine rebuild to come
Was a good day, well enjoyed myself |

Was good day out, fecking cold tho' . Nice to meet Wicked neo also, make a change from me hanging around with the craig, zed etc all the time. What did you think to the exhaust note. Trtied to give it some where I could. Not easy at pod with all the car's moving about. |

i expect all the cars were freshly washed before they set off to the pod this morning, 100 odd miles of filth from the M25 and M1 then the A509 in wet icey conditions can make the car a little dirty Rog.
Mine was all bright and sparkly first thing this morning, now its home again it looks like it's never been washed from new lol |

in your case, it's the dirt on chunk's 19 that is holding those rear arches together lol
and if he does end up having to break it, first dibs on those window rubbers and rear headrests lol |

it was running 336bhp, and 12.1's iirc hes aiminmg for 11's this year. The reason it didnt run is its got a blocked oil gallery from the engine build. |
