lol...

u really dont have a clue.. 200bhp without upping boost..... how do you propose to make a 1.7 engine running about half a bar of boost 200bhp???

Admit to people on here what your really like... all the lies you tell... about the MR2 that you own with 700bhp... the fact that your not an apprentice car mechanic.. but a meer towbar fitter.

I really dont understand why you bullshit so much mate, i gave you benifit of doubt for a few months and let you know i knew u were just a pure bred liar... knock it on the head.. quit talking about your gazillion bhp megane... your wide arch kit.. ur 20" wheels your fitting... do you not realis you will need to trim the inner guard and the sill to fit these... quite frankly your a DREAMER!!

get of these forums and actually do something with your car to make it run on more than 2 cylinders....

oh and if you want.. i will post up the hillarious MSN convo we had months ago about the racing mr2 and you getting caught by the coppers and let off in your 140+ mph 1.6 8v megane coupe... and how it has a modified gearbox to allow you to do these speeds.. and how it was build in tech by one of your teachers who wanted a megane to experiment on Rolling Eyes

just found out... after speaking to loads of lads and a volvo specialist... that you do not need a re-build to reach 200bhp... but as long as i get the purple ECU... i can chip it to get 200bhp with 16psi boost...

the other ECU's can also be re-mapped, but are still under development...

a rebuild is not needed, but depending on condition an engine may expire with stock power never mind uprating.

A rebuild is a wise precautionary move, but then again it depends on who re-builds it.

a company called port-formance did a re-build on one... and as far as i know the engine has lasted a very long time on 18psi boost... with a bigger turbo on it aswell...

will give them a ring wen i got the car. they specialise in vw's and are on dub sport website... so they must be pretty good...

its all going to be done proper... no cutting corners... if it takes me 2 months then so be it... lol

yeah wasnt suggesting you HAD to rebuild it, just if you had the time/money may as well get it as good as it can be to get the most out of it...performance and reliability wise

thats what I thought but never bothered.

I offered a boy on CS a full re-build for 800 all in and it was a proper job.
