im looking at buying a clio, either a 1.8 16v or a clio williams but i really can't find much info on them.
im looking for a car that i can get the family in and that reasonable to run but i also want to use it found track use and the occasional drag race at pod
can some one give me the spec on both cars (0-60, hp ect) and opinions on which car is better suited
thanks |

1st off all mate for a family u need the r19 16v chamade p1 preferbly spec is :-
-1.8 16v
-137hp standard
-0-60 in around 7.2-8.2 secs
-chamade has 4 doors so no problem getting a family in
-19 16v handles a whole better than a clio 16v or even a williams clio
-approx mpg is around 25-38mpg but chris h's blue chammy returned 48 at one point dunno how but there you go.
-best colours to get it in is blue, black, grey or white
-and they are v good for track days
hope it helps |

or you could look at a 21 turbo, that'll put up a better time at the pod and it's a good size family car. |

yeah the chamade does not handle any much worse than the hatch so shut it muppet.
best choice tho i would say is a p1 hatch.
as you can tell we like 19s here over clios
but unless youre a girl and cant handle a bigger car i see no benefit of a clio over a 19.
of course if you go and ask on cliosport the answer will be the complete opposite. |

*evils JB*
its down to personal taste here!
and seeing as the ph1 clios are now 'retro' enough to be here, we should love them as we do every other RR |

besides the fact that the clios are a little bit faster, handle like go carts (esp. in comparison to the chamade) and IMO look immense with nothing but a lowering kit on them from standard.
Oh and I own a r19 valver so dont think i'm riding in the clio boat.
On topic 16v chamade sounds ideal |
