"we think the water pump may have seized causing the belt to snap" ??? pump is driven by aux belt, not cam belt.. they prolly changed belt without changing tensioners, etc.. |

My money is on the tensioner.
Got a Renault Cambelt Kit here I got for £20 and a lad I know has a full engine going for £50 which I'll just swap the head over with (fingers crossed) it should run.
Thats if I get it, seen as my driveway has just been taken over by a barge that is my Dads Volvo S80. |

well, 120£ all in all for a mint 16v is not a bad deal, even in the uk, i guess.. a working street legal 19 16v would prolly be impossible to get here in denmark for less than 4000£.. and im not kidding.. |
