Yeah (excuse the possible dumbass question) but i neva understood why the RB26 and supra JZ twin turbo engines the spend thousands converting to a single turbo. Aint the point behind a twin turbo engine to have better balance through the rev range with two different size compressors, one to spool up quick and one to carry? |

yeah but the limit is on ultimate power and you can make a decent boosting turbo with split pulse inlets. |

So twin turbo = acceleration and some top end.
Big single = comprimised accel but lots of top end? |

its not that clear cut but something along those lines.
It simplifies a lot with a single turbo, plumbing etc. |

My thinking was a 1.75litre engine running 2 T25 sized turbos (iirc that is roughly what they are) would be better off with a single bigger one. |
