My Megane 1.4 RT 1996, has been fine but recently, there has been a rattling from the manifold area, which eases off as the car warms up. Now I find that it stalls and cuts out in the morning until the engine is warm enough. This morning it cut out five times at a set of lights. Maybe a similar problem to Chris S. I have to keep it revved up when in neutral as it shudders and then stalls. I am also a mechanical muppet so be gentle with me!! |

Unplugging or changing the CTS would be my advice. |

Right I've got the Haynes manual, so I'll check that and see where the CTS is. Thanks |

I'm not sure where it is on an injected 1.4, but I'm guessing it'll be around the thermostat area. |
