I don't recall having ever seen one before, and it looks weird and factory.
What's YOUR point? |

My point is I've never seen one over in the UK and I thought I'd share it with the rest of the Retro-Renault community (all six of them!)
Just because they have 'em in Paddyland doesn't mean us normal english folk are subjected to the horrors of them!
Renault 19 16v Van? lol |

I have only seen 2 or so on th eroads, very rare, the clio vanand 5 van are quite common. They ned up clio vans round here, used to be fiesta vans but the clios the new ned toy.
You can buy a van conversion kit from renault.
I dunno if they ever came from the factory as vans or were converted by dealers though. |

If they were anythin like the magevans they were converted at the importers.
Renault 19 Supervan is the correct title, then replaces by the Megavan!
Those van conversion kits are to convert vans to cars |

indeed. the pic appeared on the r19world forum a few days ago and an Austrian user said that the police used this kind of car. I've been to Austria a few times and can confirm that white/red is indeed used for police cars there.
not sure what they'd do with this car since the R19 Societe (as it's called I believe) has the lowest equipment options and probably either the 64hp diesel engine or one of the 1.4l petrol engines. |
