finally got the new engine in. Had problem with driveshaft (dodgey Garage that fitted them 3 months ago used wrong one!) changed that car running nice engine was better than original big smile on my face, until yesterday.... at 70mph it pops out of 5th, great, put it back in, out it pops, slow down for roundabout, down to 4th then... nope no 3rd, 2nd o.k pull away definately no 3rd get home 1st and 2nd gears screaming. now need new box, and some bastard has chopped down my money tree that i planted when i bought this lovely piece of french engineering! so the next mod is...... box of matches! nah really pee'd off at mo but love it when (and if) it's running right. Moan over anyone got a gear box laying about!! |
