Hi Guys
Just had the Cam belt, tensioner and water pump replaced on my R19 1.4e GTS (in Silver)
A mate of my dad did it, so it was a cash job blah blah blah
when he brought the car back i ask him if there was any thing that he noticed that might need doing. He said "your tapppets are tapping but it's nothing to worry about"
What are tappets, and how do i stop them tapping.
Cheers

cam cover off, set of feeler gauges, 0.1mm inlet and 0.25 (I think can't remeber right) exhaust, turn the engine over so the heel of the cams on the rocker then adjust it.
There will be a how 2 on it soon. |
