righty some of you may know the constant source of income that is Jims diesel 106.
About 2/3 weeks ago before I went to catterick it broke down.
So today I finally bodged it to get it going.
The problem was air getting in at the filter housing. Engines need fuel and air, not air and more air.
Its leaking round a white plastic bit that I cannae get out on the filter housing, I removed the sprag clio and tried to pull it out, buts its not coming.
Anyway to get it running temporarily I done a bodge.

yes thats right I bypassed the filter housing completely, naughty boy but it now runs and won't just cut out.
the clips were not even tight on the thing! |

I also managed to get my engine out etc in that time as well.
His car was always my top priority though. |
