The nut attaching the to the bumper is pretty rusted, when undoing it the thread turns with it? Doesnt seem to get any looser, despite drenching it with WD40.
Also how do i undo the suqare one behind the door?
Dont feel like doing it now, its pissing it down with rain. Ill do my best to get it off tommorow mate |

square one is a capitve nut! rmove the arch liner then loosen the 10mm bolt!
the front bolt cage that spins break it up with snips/screwdriver |

Right its off.
That was an absolute **** of a job. I had to hack away at the front bumper (i wasnt going to sell this as its damaged), and had to literally use a hammer and screwdriver to cut it out of the metal structure of the car.
The bolts near the bumper were absolutely rusted SOLID not a chance i would have got that off with it in the car.
As much as i can imagine at you laughing at me Chris H and calling me a noob, even YOU would have struggled with this!
The liner was a piece of pish tho, those black plug things are a nice design by renault.
Anyway im going to clena them up and somehow find a box that will fit them for you mate
Not long now and it will be winging its way to you (see what i did there?) |
