How much has everyone paid to have this done?
I've had a few quotes ranging from £22.60 to £35 to do a pair of fronts if i bring them the hubs and the bearings. Surely this is a rip off. All that needs to be done is press the old ones out and push the new ones in!
Whats the book time on pushing out/in bearings from hubs? |

They will charge anything between £5 - £15 each one mate. Just depends what number the guy thinks up in his head/ whether he likes the look of you or not. |

hydraulic press, normally get the dial up to 10 tons for shifting it, I have seen a few go up and over 20 tons of force to shift though. |

i had erics right up beyond the red zone- 30 tons the whole thing was bending and makign funny noises, i released the pressure as it wasn't shifting.
hit it with a hammer and then done it again and it was right off the scale and finaly it pinged free. |
