Noticed that the car had a mitsubishi starter fitted while replacing the clutch a few days ago on the clio. Didn't know they made em for renault engines.
Put a nearly new valeo unit back in though even though the mitsu item seemed to have a significantly bigger electromagnet section. |

mitsibishi makes lots of stuff but yes I have seen a few mitsi starters, always in clios as well actually |

Mitsubishi used some renault engines in their cars around 1997-8 i think. I did see a TD engine as used in the 19 with aircon and some other bits which has come out of a mitsubishi |

The mitsi charisma was the same car as the original volvo s40 and as we all now renault and volvo have ties so thats quite possible huw |
