last time i lacquered whilst the previous coat was tacky, i got a weird reaction with the paint, it sort of thinned, lol
I let it go but later it bubbled up under the lacquer and looked uber gash |

I am impatient... so in the end I decided to laquer it before the paint was fully set, and it worked out well!
The gloss coat looked good after 2 coats... so stood back to admire the art work... just as a fly landed smack bang in the middle of the masterpiece! nooooo! so I knew it was fuggered right at the last hurdle but went and got some tweezers outa the bathroom cabnet to gently remove it... and this thing was so well stuck...I pulled its wing and that came clean off leaving the fly's ass still firmly stuck to my lovely freshly laquered paint! tried the other wing... and that still didnt work! by the time I got the fooking thing off... there was a smudge the size of a babys arm! cant believe it.. but re-did that liitle bit... its still not perfect...but looks ok.
I sprayed a new turbo badge in black and laquered it and fitted that as well..... the main bit I did is the long strip behind the badge... u can see the dot above the 'o' which is where the flys ass landed...
