Invested in one of these today, my trusty K&N is filthy and im too lazy to clean it. Have one of there leather/chrome gearknobs which is good so hoping this will be too.

Spotted these last week, only £15 but thought better of it as they only had red. No luck at getting one cheaper on ebay, cost bout £20 from there. So back I went today to buy one. They had all 3 colours today so got a nice blue one (also come in red and chrome). Looks quite good nice and large, bit chav but nobody is going to see it under the bonnet. In the box you get filter, 6 adaptor rings, jubilee clip and some poor instructions. Not taken the car for a drive since fitting it, but hoping to notice abit of difference in noise and fuel economy with a new filter on.

Very observant, had no problems with the cap. Halfords special after I very cleverly went for a drive without one on, loosing it in the process. |

Was supposed to be but I dont mind. Never knew the strut brace was on wrong, will sort that out. Took the car out today, seems bit more responsive midrange and extra mpg but apart from that cant tell any different. Sounds bit louder than the old K&N, see how it goes. Not bad for £15 i guess. |

I found that cap from halfords doesn't realese the pressure from the system and causing headgasket failures. At least it seemed to on my old clio. |
