I have a Renault 19 16v in metallic blue I have started touching up all the paint work sand blasting all the rust of certain parts of the car then spraying zinc paint then gray primer over the top.
Can anyone tell me what is the best company for the cans of paint for exact match tried halford paint its too bright looks like candy blue metallic
looks the same colour on the tin renault electric blue. |

Renault electric blue is 432 iirc, the colour used on the 16Vs is 449 sports blue, and you will have to get it mixed specially.
Halfords mixed stuff tends to be too dark I find, so go to your local paint factor and get them to do it. There are a few shades of 449 btw, if you take the car along, they should be able to match it exactly. |

theres either 9 or 12 shades of 449 blue.
varying amounts or purple and red in them. |

look in the yellow pages for a place who mix the paint they will have a few cards with different shades of 449
electric blue is alot different |

What year is it? Did the later ph2's not come in monaco blue and not 449? |
