Whats best to use
are the ones from andyspares ok
or is it best to stick to a a genuine renault one
mines a a 19 16v phase 2

regarding filters, i've read somewhere that a bigger filter should make it easier for the pump to move the oil, since theres a bigger filtering surface and also, it wont clog up as fast due to that same bigger area.. is this something worth investigating?
apparently, volvo 400 series filters are bigger and will fit fine, since theyre also F blocks.. |

thats not my point obviously, JB.. your argument is the same as saying the factory mounted speakers are not worth replacing with uprated units, since the ones fitted by renault are as good they come.. |

they originally came with the larger filters and ones with a hex on the end then they just used the slimline ones through the range.
Bigger filter is better as hooverphonique said.
But you should be changign it often enough for it not to be a problem! |
