In the 3rd pic down you can see a huge triangular building. There’s an article on that thing on damninteresting.com, and it is actually damn interesting. |

Thought about going here and did a bit of reading on it. As the thread states, the 'tour guide' must be with you at all times. The only way to obtain a tourist visa is to go on a government tour.
In North Korea you aren't a tourist, you are a 'guest' of the government, and as such will do exactly what they say, go where they want you to go and only see what they want you to see.
Apparently the room you stay in will be bugged etc. and there will be 24/7 monitoring of your whereabouts.
Must practice my most culchie dialect and see if they can understand...
Those photos would be extremely rare, I have just read about this stuff, never seen it. I think the most startling one is the electric wire near the beeches to stop people swimming out of the country.
The UK isn't a bad place after all... still it's about time that mug was cut loose from the steering wheel. |
