Hey guys

Im in the middle of selling my Rover Coupe Turbo and fancy a fit of a French Fancy.

A mate of mine had a clio 16v and i thought as standard it was a little rocket!

Ive been speaking to a guy who also said not to forget about the 19 valver...

He said he had the Chamade with a 'few' mods..

Kent Cams, ported/polished head, piper pulley, straight through exhaust, mesh cone filter, stage 2 chip. Had lowered susp, sports tyres otherwise visualy standard. He mentioned, im sure he said a 'proven 230 bhp' and beat anybody who come up against him - blag or possible...?

Also with the same mods am I guessing correctly that due to weight the clio is the quicker car?

Cheers

230 seems real high without throttle bodies

the 19 is a sweet car to drive people have different views to which is the best but the popular choice seems to be the PH1 hatch for style handling and retro'ness Cool

as far as clio's go bah who hasnt had/got/or wants a clio Laughing get a 19 do it up and if he trend continues you will be investing in a lost future classic Wink

just be sure to look hard for a decent example of either (without any rust!!)

230bhp is nigh on impossible in the 1.8. BenR's throttle bodied 2.0 clio is only running 216bhp.

230bhp... What a hero!!

If that's all I've got to do to get that power our F7R with cams, management and throttle bodies then it is up for sale. Currently just shy of 200bhp but will consider swap for tamely modified F7P with high mileage Razz
