i also had an annoying knock, when every i accelarated hard, i clambered underneath to fins out if the rear mount had gone, but all it was, was the bracket from the rear mount to the engine had come loose, Rolling Eyes so nipped that up and problem solved.

the newer cars get, the more boring the engines get to look at,

that just looks to me as if its the head from a transformer now.

oils a common problem, to sort it pop the inelt manifold off and clean it out then torque the cover back up.

theres lots of problems you can look forward to having with this.

AC pump should just clunk when it kicks in then a slight whirr, no whining or anythign though. Does it engage and stay engaged?

engine mounts, exhaust, bits falling off, rear dampers leaking and needing changed every 6 months etc.

You have the early cable throttle body though which tends to be more reliable than the leater drive by wire effort.

lol, im, no, it works perfectly, it just whines constantly, if you put a ps car on full lock, make the whine a bit higher pitched and youve got it, it increases with engine speed aswell.

i'll try to get a vid clip of it.

well i cant get a vid clip, as the camera was also stolen. Rolling Eyes, i'll try and find another way of gettin it recorded, or it'll have to wait until the scottish meet. i would give you a bell to let u know what it sounds like, but its no emergency, and im not that bothered until it goes wrong.
