this was on sunday night on ch4. Did anyone watch it?

i thought it was quite intresting.

I was also watching the royal institution christmas lectures this morning which also touched on weather problems and global warming etc. It showed the Antartic ice shelf that fell off into the ocean and blocked things. A bit big is an understatement!

Carlisle has suffered badly where I am theres not been any problems really.

But the weather is certainly different compared to say 5 years ago.

But Winds must be 30mph the now here at least.

tiles have been ok so far up here, we had 1 tile come off about 4 years back and that was sorted and the rest are in good nick.

The same year the train stations chelters roof was found in a garden 2 miles away. A solid steel frame with sheet steel over it, wouldn't have liked that landign on my head!

the clyde was high the other day and the cart had been high for as few days. today though it was down to normal but I think its going to be very high again.

Apparently the new specs are, due to the tsunami

some island has moved 118ft (30 ish metres)
the earth has moved ofits axis
the north pole is now 1 inch further south than it was.

impressive stuff for a little quiver (on the grand scale of things)
