no bonnet vent on that one... original bonnet must have vanished in the usual flurry of angry rust.

Yes these are the ones we're after Razz

Green one's not too bad, brakes are very dodgy and one fromt spring is broken but it drives ok - engine is fine, needs a tidy underneath maybe a spot of welding and a few other bits and pieces but should mot without too much major hassle.
Blue one's a bit more of a challange - body is better then the green one, Mechanical Genius Chris got it started after it not having run since march! Gearbox is buggered.
Not one for me to tackle but no problem for a man of Chris' expretese (sp?)

yep, seller was a good guy - I think he was a bit taken aback with how much Chris knew about 19s - but at least he know's they'll go to a good home and not be nedded.

Going to wait until about 30mins before end of auction before putting a bid in - hopefully can catch the other bidders unawares Razz

maybe 10 - don't want to leave it too late incase someone has a proxy bid and automatically outbids me and I'm left with no time to put in another bid.
But yes - the later the better.

bid your maximum last 1 min and see if they can beat your auto bids . that would be my approach anyway .

as long as your max is above their max Smile

That's the only worry I have about leaving it too late - say for example I was prepared to pay up to £150 and placed a bid 30sec before the end of the auction of 150 and they had also set 150 as their max they would still be the high bidder as they bid first and I might not have time to place a higher bid of £150.01 and win the auction.

Although what I tend to do is set my limit slightly higher at say £151 to get round that as most folk wil put their max at a round figure.
