anyone else into Sci-Fi?
I got a loan of the entire 1st season (6 discs) of Babylon5 and the 1st movie (in the beggining)
I watched the film and the 1st disc yesterday (4 episodes).
Apparently I'm sad but I like this sort of thing.
Why did bbc2 stop showing star trek btw? |

well your 'one of them' stan
B5 is good because it has a continuing storyline, none the star trek every new episode has no relevance to the last. But B5 has an atmittedly long story, 10 years!
Because its the 1st season it doesn't have that bruce dude in it, I prefer him to the guy thats the re-incarnated soul of Valen, oh yes I am a geek, hes part minbair and the offspring of dellen and whats his name (sinclair is it?) |

Me and the g/f love the Alien films aswell, i bought her the box set and the scum nicked that too, only a month old, did'nt Sturbuck get left on a remote planet with one of the robot thingies, you canna beat a lazy Sunday afternoon with the curtains closed and putting on a Star Trek movie and then dozing off |

starbuck went back to caprica to get the arrow of apollo and she meets up with helo (who was also stranded on caprica way back when the invasion began), helo is with one of the cylons that look human, but does not realise she is a cylon until he sees an exact copy of her with some real cylons.
That was this seasons cliffhanger, starbuck & helo with the cylon stuck on thier homeworld, galactica in orbit around cobalt (thier original homeworld from which the 13 tribes left), commander Adama shot by yet another human looking cylon and the president in the ships brig . .
What will happen next season ? (i hate cliffhangers)
I also love red dwarf classic goodness |

Well you'll soon get bored of them 1/2 hr in. Personally (and I don't think I'm alone here) I think they sucked botty compared to the original three.

There's a fan-edited version of episode one called 'the phantom edit' which removes all the jar jar shit. Much better. |
