my elephant insurance is nearly up, so ive been investigating renewals. We all know what insurance companies are like with out group 15 (Confused) valvers.

my details

25
2yncb
3 points
alloys, exhaust etc declared (of course Wink)
1 named driver (my ex - she knocked over £100 off the price at the time)

elephant want £456 to renew
Chris Knott want £415ish
Liverpool victoria wanted something stupid like £930
Not going anywhere near Adrian Flux

Any other ideas?

I'm with Directline, and I got my 19 16v last year in january and it was the first ever car I'd insured by myslef so no no claims bonus, etc........I was 21 then and it was £836 third party fire & theft. Now january just gone, I'm 22, had 1 years no claims, and it went down to £580 Very Happy which was a LEGEND of a drop I thought!

So to cut a long story short Neal, I have never found anyone cheaper than directline, so give 'em a go I would.

I'm with direct line for £330:

Age 23
NCD 6yrs (I've actually only got 5 but when they sent me my renewal they said 6 so I'm not going to argue Very Happy )
Fully Comp with protected no claims
no points
no other dirvers

330 pounds is great mark , but i think the affecting element is the years of ncb rather than the age otherwise tesco has been ripping me off for 2 years(which is more likely)
