right since arsehole came and fucked the pc up I cannot access my webspace. The ftp account.

I try and click a link and it freezes the pc and sometimes just shuts it down.

Chet says get an ftp program.

All very well so where and what do I get?

i use cute ftp but only because i cant remember some of my site passwords so i can swap them over to flash fxp Rolling Eyes

its all fuckign shite.

none of them work cos of whatever th efuck hes done to the thing.

I can't get anythign workign on the thing at all.

can't copy anything

can;t watch mnost things

hes fucked it good and proper tbh.

before I had a link in my favpourites it woudl go straight to it and all I had to do was drag and drop, no need for other programs or anything.

fuckign retard IT people.

hmmmm,

u should still be able to the do the same thing Chris thru your browser.

U need the ftp address or ip, user name and password

type into the browser

ftp://yourftpservername/ <---- being the name of your server of course

or

ftp://192.168.0.0/ <------- being the ip of your site of course.

then a dialog box should pop up asking for ur username and password.

if that does not work then are you using a firewall or router ?

macafee is used like it was before and no trouble, chet and JB can access it I can't. Its close to get punched tbh

whats this mcafee thing do? if it blocks port 21 then FTP wont work

they are all turned off its doign my fuckign box is and I know whos fault it all is.

I got to

ftp://ftp.renault-turbo.com/

then try and login and it changes to

ftp://renault-turbo.com@renault-turbo.com/

telling me I ain't authorised etc

i found when using ie, u go to ftp.renault-turbo.com then some random error comes up, but then i go to file, "login as" and can enter details there....

and that works for me, now.
