wasn't sure where to post this but the pics forum it is!
Amber and I on Saturday walked up Leckit Hill (546m) up the campsie Fells.
We parked the car by the road and heres a pic looking up, you don't see the bit beyond that crest!
the beast megane!
about 10 mins into the saunter up the hill, the megane can be made out in the middle of the pic
same spot this is looking south west towards Glasgow
again but a bit higher up
up to a plateau, still more to go!
looking south over the peak of the neighbouring hill towards Glasgow
south westerly
Amber (thewonderfulme), you can tell shes glad to be there! lol
further up the hill looking south again
[img[http://www.renault-turbo.com/chris/leckit%20hill%2010.jpg[/img]
cairn, that means the top! Although there was another about 20 yards away!
looking north easterly to the carron valley resovoir
looking easterly to Meikle Bin (570m)
dunno a bit of hill! lol
again looking south to the city
Meikle Bin again
north easterly again to the resovoir
south again
dunno
us heading back down
looking back up the hill
down the hill
looking north
me on the way down, soaked no less due to marsh!
Just to remind us that we were still in glasgow a burnt out fiesta
A nice day out and a good walk. The roads called the 'tak me doon' and those that know it well can cover it very quickly. |

yes it would!
Yeah I tried to talk Amber into walking to meikle Bin or round to the other neighbouring hills and down to the other car park. But she wasn';t having any of it.
We did well though considerign we are not in the best shape these days! |

Good effort. I haven't been out for a good walk in ages. Everytime I got spare time tho, like at a weekend I always end up working on the car tho
MUST put aside some weekends for walking soon to get in shape a bit for Scotland. But I know I prolly wont. |

boring! lets go all the way to scotland and sit there doin feck all holding a stick!
not my idea of fun
altho i did catch a seabass once, but that was on a boat out to see, and we were going back into port so i was given a stick to hold while we went back in....I thought I had snagged the bottom...hell of a pull on it, but no it was a lovely bass....
then later at home my mate was frying it on a little grill out in the garden, went to turn it over in the pan and dropped it in the mud. DOH! |
