Ok the mount has realt broken this time! It made a nice bang as I was driving home.
The question is:
Are all the 19 rear mounts the same or not? I've got a spare on the 1.4 out the front and when I spoke to the factors they said they only had the 1 type for all engine sizes.
It just seems a bit strainge that renault would make the same mount for all 19's without any differances in the strenght of the thing? |

most have taken 10/12 years to go.
its just ones you buy later never seem to last as long as the originals. |

renault quoted me about £60 for a rear mount.
Not that bad but there only about £40 from the factors. |

i had mine filled in by Neal, its doing well so far, hasnt shown any signs of splitting, excellent idea i say! pm him for a price |

60 quid from renault for one that will last 10 years or 40 for one that will last less than a quarter of that... |

renault priice is 42 quid fore the rear mount, my dialogies ain't working so can;t get the part number.
its about 25 quid froma factors though! |

Get the part number for us then mate. At thoses prices I'd buy from Renault. |

wot (I mean what really) I ment to say is, what code do renault ask you for when you give them your car detials?

just ask them for a rear engine mount on a 19 16V.
If they want to know chassis number setc tell them to just stick in C53D |

52.75 inc the vat. Price is probably a bit higher, they alway's seem to be than the copy of dialogys that was going around here... |
